Advice....

I short while ago, I was given the following piece of fabric from a work colleague (sorry about the blurryness of the image, I took it with my phone).

Yes the fabric is vintage, my work colleague rescued it from her mother's stash after she passed away.

It is slightly textured (kind of like corduroy).  The piece is 90cm wide by 330cm long, any suggestions about what I can make from it?

FYI - I also have a few patterns from the 40s, 50s and 60s that I need to trace so I can return them and a copy of "Ladies Garment Cutting and Making" by Morris, which was published at the beginning of the 40s, it contains instructions for drafting all kinds of garments from the 40s, the book will take sometime to copy.

Hmm, probably something late 60's, and if it's at all stiff, one of the geometrically shaped a-line dresses would be well suited: http://sewretro.blogspot.com/2011/04/searching-for-instructions.html
