I actually didn't recognise you first time I glanced from Deense's photos. So how do you like spanish as a look? I must admit I like the ability to fake long hair.

How go the other frockage projects?

There were a few people who didn't recognise me on Saturday. I quite like the Spanish style I had actually started making a red Spanish Frock that I was going to put stripes on eventually but then Stanzi gave me this frock so I was very happy with that. There are so many different looks you can go with for the time but it is really hard to find pictures and information on the time period. Fortuneatly Stanzi not one, but two copies of "Hispanic Costuming" which is a really good resource for those interested in Spanish.

The fake hair was really simple it was just a rectangular piece of cloth with velvet ribbon wrapped around it. I had just tied my hair in a pony tale and put a pin through and then wrapped the fabric around it to help keep in in place. I had also put a few extra pins in just for stability. The black hat was a gift from Gabs and Stanzi, they gave one to all the girls who helped with the sewing stuff for the reign.

The other frockage projects are not going so good, I have been a bit slack on that front. At the moment I will be conentrating on getting stuff ready for Festival and then I will get to the business of actually starting/ finishing the flash frocks I have planned.
